Europe in Making - International Event in Portugal

Torres Novas Municipality organized a two days event under the topic "EUROPE IN MAKING".

The aim of the event was to exchange experiences of bottom-up movements, grassroots organizations, and non-organized citizens that decided to operate at the EU level. The event was enriched by a simulation activity of the proceedings of the Committee of the Regions as well as a structured talk with two Portuguese Members of the European Parliament.

During the opening session, the Vice-mayor of Torres Novas, Veliko Tarnovo representatives, and EAN partners were welcomed.

The activity plan of the project was presented, as well as aspects of the development of the policies for dealing with European networks and representatives of local authorities and communities together with different organizations willing to introduce European values in different initiatives.
